CNC MACHINE TOLERANCES

  • Standard Lead Time: 3-4 weeks. Expedited Services available

  • General Tolerances: Tolerances on metals will be held to +/- 0.005" (+/- 0.127 mm) in accordance with ISO 2768 unless otherwise specified. Plastics and composites will be +/- 0.010”.

  • Precision Tolerances: We manufacture and inspect to tight tolerances, including sub +/- 0.001" tolerances, per your drawing specifications and GD&T callouts.

  • Edge Condition: Sharp edges are broken and deburred by default

  • Surface Finish: The standard finish is as-machined: 125 Ra or better.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Banda Manufacturing's AS9100 and ISO9001 certifications reflect our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision. Our robust quality management system ensures that every product meets or exceeds customer expectations.

  • First Article Inspection: Every dimension of the first part is checked and recorded, ensuring that our customers receive parts made exactly to their specifications.

  • In-Process Inspection: Inspections continue and are recorded throughout the manufacturing process, occurring at the start of each operation and periodically during the operation. This practice ensures parts are produced as close to the target dimensions as possible.

  • Final Inspection: Before packaging components for shipment, a final inspection is conducted. A random sample from the lot is thoroughly inspected, and a Final Inspection report is created. Dimensions, required finishes, coatings, and the overall appearance of the components are verified.
